Sangria for those stuck in the city

I devote this unique recipe for sangria to the one’s stuck in the city working… or just feeling stuck wherever. The others, that are on holiday – stop reading here! 😀

In Bulgaria, we love to chill on our balconies, in front of our houses, on the streets, in the parks, just OUTSIDE. The other day, I was sitting on the balcony, relaxing while reading a nice book, and I felt that there was something missing in my hand…  a glass of cold refreshing drink. So, I thought: “It’s sangria, that’s missing?! How haven’t I realized that?”

So, for all of you who feel like me and want to fill in the hole in their hearts that sangria has left, or you just want to bring the spirit of the sea or sunny Spain to your home, all you have to do is make yourself a sangria 🙂

You need:

1 bottle of wine (white or red, according to your preference)

1 orange

2 peaches

1/2 lemon

1 apple

1 Sprite

Canela

Ice, ice, baby

First, you need to slice the fruits and put them in a big glass bowl. In the red sangria you can put more apples and in the white – more lemon. The more the fruits, the better the sangria. + it’s 2 in 1 = a fruit salad and a cold refreshing drink.

When you have sliced the fruits you can put a little cinnamon in the bowl with the red sangria. After that you can pour the wine. I put a whole bottle, the more the sangria, the better.

The last thing you need to do is add Sprite up to your taste. Remember, that you will serve it with ice, so don’t add to much Sprite.
